Hi! My name is Mandi and I have recently started my very first aquarium( one gallon!) with a single male Betta named Zepher

. I am completely new to taking care of any fish (besides a goldfish)!

You can learn a lot here and on the menu on your left you will see a very nice Free e-book you can read. If you have a dialup speeds, it takes a while to load up but once there, is a very good read with lots of information.

Welcome Mandi....I must warn you, 1 tank usually leads to 2, and then 3 and so on. Before you know it everyone thinks your crazy, and all you do is talk to your fish!

My boyfriend already thinks i'm nuts! his tank has a color scheme and i talk to him like he's a little baby! But he is sooo cute!

I can hardly wait to get another!

Zepher is doing amazing! I've established quite an amazing tank. I'd love to get a plant for the top of the tank, it'd look amazing with a plant growing out the top!
