I called the IRS regarding my stimulous payment yesterday and got some lady that told me that whole thing was "screwed" up. At least it was nice to get someone to talk to that was honest.

I got a check the other day from the Department of Public Welfare and it didn't say why I was getting the check. So I called the local welfare office and they looked up my info and said they have no idea why I was sent the check either. Their is no record of it in the system. They had no idea what to tell me, lol. It's only a check for $46 but hey, that will pay for a 1 hr full body massage..... :)

Are you sure it isn't a heat credit? This year we even got a phone rebate. I got $30 for that.

how would i get a credit for that? i dont get heating assistance or anything. the heat, electric, phone, etc aren't even in my name. i live with my dad so everything is in his name.

I got my check (direct deposit) weeks ago... about three weeks afterwards I received a letter in the mail telling me I would be getting my check soon Maybe they're sending me two!

i got my stimulus payment before I got the letter stating how much I was getting too. I think they were a little late mailing them out, lol.
