very bad things just happened to my betta.
i was doing my normal WC and my betta got syphoned, i was looking at my bucket and not at my tank and woosh. he was in the bucket. he's cut up pretty bad and his fins are tattered. what can i do for him? i put stress coat in with him. do you think he will make it? i don't have a hospital tank, but my 3g is empty right now and very overgrown with plants should i put him in there?

He'll probably be freaked out for awhile, but in my experience bettas are pretty tough fish. His fins will repair themselves and he should be fine. Moving him to the three gallon was a good move - Keep us updated!

yeah, i don't have any aquarium salt anyway and i seriously doubt adding salt to a planted tank is a good idea.

You should try and get some Melafix as Angelcakes said. It doesn't cost that much if you have like a Wal Mart or pet store around. It's really good for open wounds. I would definitely try and get some. You should go ahead and buy things like these just in case something like this happens.
