Thread: New Plecos

    Default New Plecos

Ok so we went out the other day to the pet store and my bf has been wanting a Pleco for a while. I kept telling him that we really didn't have room for them but he plans on getting a big tank for them. Not sure of the species of the spotted one because the pet store had it labeled as a spotted plecostomus. Is that correct?

The top is an albino chocolate pleco. They got that one right but not sure about the bottom. Someone on another forum said that it might be a spotted sailfin or something like that???

The Spotted Sailfin also has spots on the fins and not lines like this one...
looks like the L382 but it is hard to tell as the pattern may change as it ages.

Yea, I might have to wait until he/she gets bigger before I can actually tell. =]
