How long has your tank been set up?

You say that your Ammonia, Nitrites, and Nitrates are normal. What are your normal levels, to be specific?

I'm guessing that's your culprit.. :(I did just check my temps again as I only check them in the morning and it hovering around 91 degrees
That and the fact that this WAS over-stocked for a 30g, though your parameters were normal ..
What kind of heater do you have in there?
Will want to get it out of there and get another one..
Visitherm Stealths are good.
What kind of filter do you have in there?Last edited by doug z; 05-21-2008 at 08:15 PM.

I have a marineland penguin 350 rated for up to 75 gallons whisper adjustable 100 watt heater and a bunch of plants. looks like I will be shopping tomarrow for a dorm fridge to convert the freezer part to a chiller.

Where are you from?
You're saying the heater temp. thermostat didn't fail, but your room temperature is high enough to get your tank up to 92F?75g - 20 cardinals : 7 panda cory : 5 Julii cory : 9 zebra danios : 1 CAE : 2 SAE : 2 yo-yos : 1 BN
