  1. Default Lights and where to get them online?

I have a 36" T5 fixture with the 2 original lamps; 21w Colormax full-spectrum flourescent and a 21w 6700k plant flourescent. I want to upgrade the lamps for my plants but I dont know what to look for. What kind of lamps are available for my fixture? Whats with the pink and blue tinted lamps, what are they for? And where do you get your lamps?

Bigalsonline.com is where I do 99% of my online fish shopping. Usually the very best prices, fantastic customer service, fast shipping.

The pink is usually a colormax type of bulb designed to bring out the colors in the fish. The blue is actinic, really only good for corals and such.

Yup. Big Al's. And they have a store in Canada so you likely can order from them there. Think I read that here.

What would be the highest wattage lamps I could get on it?

I'm not sure you'd be able to find T5 lights much beyond 20 watts or so for that fixture.
