Kuhli Loach
Weird, I was cleaning my canister filter, & found a Kuhli loach in the media. He obviously just got sucked up before being able to dig. Mad!! We have had them a month now, & finally we see one! Whoo hoo.
I have attached a pic of the lucky dude!! He must have had enough to eat. Still pretty small, but has definitely grown since we bought him.Ghostknife

Aww thats unfortunate, poor guy :( The filter on my 2.5 is full of pond snails and small trumpets, but they seem to have figured out how to crawl up the side and over the media, because there is always different amounts in there so i just leave them.

Hahahaha, thats AWESOME!
You are like the 5th person on here to miraculously discover a fish in their filter. Perhaps there is something in the water? (Pun only intended if it makes you laugh. If not, pun not intended. Use with discretion)Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can pay the rent.

At least the little guy was alive ... mine looked like a bit of squashy white string by the time I found him in the HOB on my 10g :( It was a great shame because of the 6 that I got, he was the most beautiful - the others look like Hugh Hefner!
You can have it done good, cheap, and fast. Pick any two.
80g (300L) - Discus, Silver Dollars, Corys, Kuhlis, Zebras, Bristlenose Plecs, Flying Foxes, Bumblebee Gobies, Bolivian Rams and a Whiptail Catfish.
18g (60L) - Lake Tanganyika tank with 3 Neolamprologus multifasciatus and 13 Neon Tetras.
10g (38L) - 2 male Betta Splendens (Crowntails) - Optimus Prime & Megatron
Pond (350-450g) - 9 Goldfish, Comets, Shebumpkins & 2 Yabbies.

Well... sad update to the story...
Just found a dead Kuhli in the tank. He was completely white, but don't know for sure if it was "Lucky Phil" or the other one I bought at the same time.
I guess he was dead for awhile, and that's why he's so white?

I can't buy Kuhli loaches over where I live, I asked at the aquarium shop and the owner said they were problematic. They always ended up stuck in the filtration and caused problems so he doesn't sale them. I was told the same at the pet shop.
So by me it's a choice of either golden or weather neither of which appeal to me. The third choice is a clown loach but its not really the same.
