ohh ok... jst making sure I could add tap straight to tank...
tht will be perfect... I paid like 25 bucks for 50feet well worth the price... still havent tried it out but only by thinking I dnt need BUCKETS its worth already...
One time I was doing a water change and I flipped a 10 gallon container on the floor FULL OF WATER.... it was a mess...

Yep just try to add the conditioner directly in the stream as the water is going in.

Uuummmmm, I know what you mean, lol. Pythons just make wc's so much easier. I HATED lugging buckets back and forth.

Got it right, I just (due to many tanks at one time) make sure I flush the water out of the python from one tank before I go to the next. Just be careful and don't get lazy like I did. I was putting the H20 back in,.. went to do sometihing else and floored the place. H20 all over.
Just keep in mind if you have a disease in one tank it will be transferred to another if your Python is not flushed. Thank goodness, I never had this happen to me, but advice I feel should be passed on.Those who matter don't judge me....those who judge me

I dont trust my tap water enough to pull off something like that, i always pre treat my water. If you have a big tank get a plastic bin and fill it will water so you always have fresh water around to use. You can just syphon it from that into the tank. Cover it if you have animals so you dont get any hair in it.

I agree with Turkey. If you are on city water I'm not sure it is a good idea to add the water to the tank without conditioning.
8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

if you live in the city, you have 30min-1hr before tapwater does harm to the fish, so you have time to add conditioner after
here they treat the crap out of our water, and last year for a month i accidentally used a bacterial product instead of water conditioner, my fish were fine

I would think that as long as you get the conditioner in while the tank is filling (or immediately afterwards) that you'd be ok.
