American flagfish with a booty string
My male American Flagfish I've had for a week. Today we noticed he has a wierd looking string hanging from him. I am hoping this is just poop?
It turns green at the end.. And doesn't seem to be detatching.
Fish is swimming around eating and occasionally going up and down the side wall (he has always done that though)
Quick search and found possibility of parasite, poop, under-feeding, over-feeding.
He usually eats freeze dried bloodworms, sinking pellets and nibbles on my grass/algae.
I don't think he's over-fed but I bet he's closer to over-fed than under-fed.
Ammonia 0, trite 0, trate 5.. Water change is scheduled for tomorrow.
Any ideas?

Long, colored stringie poop is more than likely constipation. It's OK to give fish a day to fast one day a week to clean themselves out. But long, white strings is generally internation worms. You can easily treat the whole tank with PraziPro.
