Can anyone recommend any online plant distributors (in the USA, preferably)? I am in the middle of the United States and cannot find any of the recommended plants in healthy condition....

I've ordered from www.aquariumplants.com twice and they are very good.

Shipping is a little high but if you get a few plants it's not bad.

I brought from this site before. I find that the best way to buy plant is from other hobbyist. They give you more quantity. They are usually better quality. Also, many ship by priority, so shipping cost is cheaper. You can try posting on our classified about what plant you are looking for. Here is a link to a forum where people buy and sell plant.

Is 6.99 for a handful of Java Moss reasonable? It sounds excessive but I sure do not know...lol.....

I personally wouldnt pay 6.99 for just java moss. You can usually get a golf size java moss for 3 dollar plus shipping. Because of shipping you usually want to buy more than one plant.

Nothing and everything...I am new to all of this and there is not a large variety in my city. I do know that because I only have 1.5wpg I need low light plants.
