  1. Default Thickness of a Glass

    Hello,
I would like to know how is calculated the Thickness of Glass to Use for an Aquarium, since I have ordered one but with measurements as follows

    Length: 120 cm  47.2 inch
    Height: 44 cm  17.3 inch
    Width: 40 cm  15.7 inch

The aquarium is custom made with glass 8mm but is seems that the two side glasses made a little curve. The seller came and put a support on top, but I think needs more

What do you suggest me to do?

    It is an urgent issue!!

    Please help

  2. Default

Well, I don't know anything about building aquariums, but wouldn't a 4 foot tank have a middle support anyway? Why would they add one only afterwards?

Anyway, if you custom ordered and paid for an aquarium, but you are dissatisfied with the product, you should either ask them to do again the right way until you are satisfied, or get your money back and try somewhere else. I wouldn't just accept it or try to 'fix it' if I wasn't happy with it. Who knows what kind of disaster could happen if the tank wasn't built properly.
This is my witty and clever signature. You like? :)
