    you would probably see a great improvement in algae growth, you'd have it everywhere. LOL

    The entire line of Seachem Flourish products (minus Excell) is simply the watered down versions of dry ferts with the price jacked through the roof. The cost of dosing your tank for 1 week with the Flourish line is more than the cost of dosing your tank for 6 months to a year with the dry ferts. In order to get the proper amounts of nutrients from the Flourish line you would have to does 3-4 times what they recommend.

    Okay so i just used my new test kit for Phosphate and Iron... The results are in mg/L but i need ppm. anyone know if this is the same thing or should i return the kit and find something that measures in ppm?

    never mind. i just googled it and it looks like their are the same

    mg/L = ppm

    by burn marks around the pinholes, do you mean yellowing? Its very tough to tell without a high quality pic because the two deficiencies look a lot alike. I'm only asking because I've never had an iron deficiency with the flourite and the root tabs.

    Yeah i do have 100% fluorite thats 4" think thats no more then 2 months old...

    I'm no expert but i just can't imagine it's iron deficiency...but then i've never had it before so something must be up.

    sorry if these questions have been answered before, but whats your lighting (hours/wpg), nitrates again? i dont think its physically possible for a plant to have an iron deficiency in flourite.
