Do Neon's like to "play" in current?
All 11 of my Neon's (including two 4-5 year old females) were just moved into a larger tank. There is about 1/3 of the front of my tank that has fairly swift current. There are are plenty of calmer spots, but these guys seem to really enjoy playing "salmon". Even my algae eaters park themselves (not eating) in the current and "sit" for a few moments.
Their color is fantastic, feeding enthusiastically and appear healthy, but I can't remember seeing this behaviour before.
I was (and probably will) turn the flow down a bit but I wanted to find out if anyone else has seen this behaviour.

I think it just feels good to have the water flowing over them! My Rasboras do the same thing. They LOVE hanging out under the water as I pour it in for a water change too.

I used to have a group of giant danios who hogged the current from the powerhead all the time. Then one by one they died off from what I believe to have been TB. Anywho, all the smaller fish now enjoy the powerhead, and they even like being tossed around by it. They are just having some fun. Most animals do, keep the current going!!
