    Hey guys just thought i would share you pics of my java fern and what I did with the babies.


    first pic is all the babies cliped from main plant Except big one its on the next pic.


    Second is picture of the biggest part of the babies transplanted on bigger piece of bogwood.... That loop took some patience but was easily done!( I dont mind the red and i am out of brown thread)


    Third picture is the small baby clippings put back onto the main plant... Just to let you know how i did this is by folding out a paper clip and shoving the baby roots under the main stock of the plant and help tied it down... No threads in this picture :)

    Looking good!

    Ours are producing all kinds of shoots too. We transfered a filter sponge to friend to help her with her cycle and there was a baby Java fern stuck to the foam!

    Come to think about it, foam for Aquaclears probably makes a good rooting medium for java ferns!

    Thanks sasquatch! Yea i agree that foam would be a good medium and great sorce of food for the roots to attach to lol! Thats cool and she got a baby fern!

    I know! What the heck happened lol! I got a greenthumb over night!! nah this is just my first time marine planting.

    Thanks Hobbs they are looking pretty good and i hope it stays that way... LOL this is all with .67 watts per gallon lol! Very low light... but they are looking good and excited to keep tranfering them over lol its fun!

    Your javas look good,They are fun to have,they take alot of abuse,sadly for me they dont take much light.
