I have quite a few Blue Mystery Snails. They are all the size of my thumb or a little larger. Except for this one little guy. I don't know why he's staying so small, but he's not even as big as my pinky. He looks like his shell is cracked, so I thought that might be what's wrong with him. All the others are fine. No cracks or anything. I've read that I should get some liquid calcium. Is that the saltwater stuff they were talking about?

liquid calcium, or calcium in their diet help them build their shells. But I doubt calcium deficiency is the problem if the other 4 is ok. Has I always had that crack ?

Do the rest of them breed ok?
Do as I say. Not as I do.

I don't think he's always had the crack. He was fine when I had him as a baby. They haven't bred yet. That's another question. How big do they have to be before they can breed? I've read that they breed when they get golf ball size. Is this true?
