Hood options
Hi all,
during the weekend, I got a carpentor to execute my hood design.
we chose 2nd grade teak wood for the hood built the design I had in mind.
1) external surface was sanded, plastered and polished for a natural wood finish which is looking very good.
2) for the internal surface I am doing 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of white paint for max reflection
3) got a CFL 36W light for a 33G tank (no plants, only rocks for convicts)
Comments please. Do I need a coat of varnish for my hood?
Thanks
Sudhir.
