he just ate my really pretty angel fish..

. A friend of mine who has one like loster feeds hers prawns and bigger foods not just fakes so it wont attack her fish. Does anyone know how often to give them a bit bigger food to keep them satisfied but not over feld? and other things he would like to eat? I live out of town so when i go to the city i can get him some more food.

It was bound to eat something sooner or later. They are best in a species only tank.

I keep one with Africans successfully. Mine gets the food that gets to the bottom and I give him an alternation of sinking wafers and shrimp pellets.

Hi, i have had one in the past and hear are some tips for you.
1) i feed my one peas flakes chiken bits and blood and garden worms.
2) if you dont have a good place for him to hide he will be real aggressive and will kill your fish,
3)my one got out of the tank 3 times so make sure you block up any holes, 4)thay can shock you i remember seeing my one with a twin next to him??? Terns out that he shed hes skin!

I partially agree, it is a hit and miss. If you keep faster fish with it then it might not. I have a lot of rock work in my african tank so mine is fine. I sadly DO Plan to get rid of him though when I get my new african tank up but that is just for the money my LFS offered me for him.

We have a blue lobster at work that some one brought in as it was a fish killer. He's a big boy approx 8 inches when he is stretched out.

So far I have 7 local crayfish in, my 29 Gal, with lots of rock, they haven't caught any of my platies or my betta. I'm hoping they don't. I feed mine daily with hernit crab food, but I've noticed aot of waste so I think I may need to cut back.

I have a blue.
I don't know what he lost but he looks under every rock for it.
He never killed anything. When he got to about three inches long the Corys started sleeping on top of rocks, so I moved him to his own tank.
