    Was just wondering if anybody knows on average how long these take to reach there full growth?

    can take a few years depending on diet.....my plec is 12"+ and ive had him 3-4 years but was big when i got him.

    I'm gonna agree with angelcakes. Most likely 4-5 years, but depending on diet, they can get large fast.

    I was googling and was reading 1 guys got to 50 cm or 1.5 feet in 3 years. I hope you have a large tank for that future big boy.

    They do grow pretty slow, it can take over 5 years for em to hit hit 12" from birth.
    Ive got 2, both the same size when I bought em, ones probably an inch larger than the other, and hes only 5". But having said that, hes grown like 2 inches in 3 months.
