Default Fixing to do an overhaul

Yup, I am tired of the trouble my planted tank is giving me. I don't know what is causing it as my paramounts are fine but I keep having fish die. All my cardinals, bettas, and guppies have died in there and now my brothers gourami is dieing. I don't know what could be causing it but I am fixing to take everything out and give it a good ole' cleaning with the syphon and put the fish in buckets. Also, what is the lowest temp. you would reccomend for cory cats?

Sorry to hear about your troubles Kuli..... For the cory temp I wouldn't go much below low 70's. There normal ranges are 72-78. Anything higher or lower may shock them. Keep the temperature change slow though. Slowly acclimate them to the cooler temperature....ie don't take them out of a 78 degree tank then throw them into a 70 degree bucket. Proper temperature acclimation should be a few degrees everyday to completely eliminate the temperature stress of the move....Good luck..

Well what I was thinking is maybe a goldfish and some corys as bottomfeeders. I would prob keep it at a steady 73 or so.

Tht would probably be fine. Goldfish normal range is 68 or so. They would adjust to the 73 okay I'd say. Goldfish are very messy so alot of water changes and vaccing will come with him..... Again Good Luck....
