Missing fish
I have 5 small tiger barbs, 10 guppies, 8 neon tetras, 1 pocosstamus(4"algie eater) and two large fat gold fish in my tank. Fish keep disapearing. The largest one's first. One of my large gold fish compleatly dissapeared last night. I'm missing a few neon tetras to. The algie eater disapeared first. Are the Tiger Barbs eating them? I even had tiger Barbs missing. I replaced them and now I have this problem again. HELP!!!

Wrong fish in (I bet) too small a tank? Fish are hunters at night and that's probably when the damage is being done. The carcus is then eaten.
What size is your tank and was it cycled?
Goldfish are cold water species and should not be in community tanks. Pleco's grow huge, a foot, and they need large tanks.......like 75 gallon and up.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Hobbs said it all. See if you can either take the remaining goldfish back to the store or all the tropicals and have it either only goldfish or tropicals.

if the goldfish are comets, im guessing theyre eating the guppies and neons, and the barbs are probably chasing the guppies fins.

While it's possible some fish are eating or picking to death other fish...it's more likely you are having water quality issues that are a contributing factor to your "fish loss". It's not that uncommon to have a fish die and seemingly "disappear". I bet if you took all the decor out of the tank, you would find on or two of the larger carcasses well picked at.
As for your mix of fish....guppies are definately a bad idea with tigerbarbs. TB's will nip Guppy fins without a doubt. As also said, Goldfish and Tropicals shouldn't be mixed. Goldfish are a temperate (cold water) species, while the rest of your fish are tropical and require a heater.
On the original note, what are your water parmeters?

Is your filter sucking them up after they die? I know mine has little slots so nothing will fit other than poo and flakes and such but I have heard of some people cutting those slot seperators out so there is more flow???
Not sure if this is your case but hmmmm...would they fish pick at them overnight and they be gone???
gl i hope you figure this one out? I will be watching this is very interestiing.Jenn
