    Default My Silver Dollars

I am very surprised at the speed my silver dollars have grown. They were about dime sized less than 3 months ago and are already "silver dollar" size. I'm thinking they must be about fully grown at 1 year. I do like these fish a lot and they may be my favorite right now.

Full grown at much less then a year. They grow fast.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fish that goes with about anything due to the size they get. They are nice little fish.

Mine hit a nice growth spurt at about 3 inches and i swear must be almost 5 now. They are some very cool fish

I'm not sure what kind I even have. They are identical to the picture in my post with that red fin. Can't tell if they are red hooks or not.

Judging by your avatar it looks like i have the same ones which are not red hooks. If it was a red hook, the hook would be quite prominant. I cant quite tell from your picture though

Thanks. I thought not as well but wondered... maybe? I often get all nervous about mine as they get these shiny spots on them that I mistake for ICK.

hahah that is weird because i used to think that too, but since they are so "silvery" lol it is just weird spots in their skin i guess
