Melanotaenia praecox
Yip the Rainbow bug is continuing here in the house... after the sucess with the furcatus and their non stop breeding I picked up some baby Melanotaenia praecox yesterday - they are still only about 0.7 inches but are already showing some amazing colors... I don't think a foto could so them justice - everytime they move you get a glint of purple, blue, turquoise, silver, yellow and then bright red fins.. very true these are rainbow fish.
In character they meshed straight away with the rest and show no timidness at all...they settled in faster than I have seen any other fish... as soon as they were let lose they straight away went on a food hunt.
Here's one of the new babies

Hope you like them...
