Woah!! He lived!!!!!
I've been posting about how Bruce (my betta) ate the three ghost shrimp I got to put in his tank....
Well, I'm taking his tank apart to redo it right now, and I found a LIVE shrimp!!!!!! I thought Bruce ate all of the bodies and everything, but NOPE! There's a live shrimp in there!!! WOW!!! I'm so excited now!!! I'm going to put him in my community tank...w00t!!!

Glad the shrimpy dude lived. I love shrimp, apparently so do my Angelfish, so no shrimp for me.
I am thinking though, of making a shrimp tank, out of one of my ten gallon tanks I got laying around. I want to raise cherry shrimp, but I seen a green shrimp that has caught my interest too. So not sure, but I do want a shrimp tank....
Seeing your enthusiasm, has renewed my motivation to get my other project under way.
Thanks Ellen

I am so excited! lol I haven't seen him in the 10g yet...but then again, I NEVER saw him in my 5.5g. He's probably hiding out trying to get a feel for things. I saw him go straight for the java moss, so I think he's in there.

Well, after Ellen's enthusiasm, I have come to the conclusion that I indeed will have a shrimp tank. However, since I see a lot of ghost shrimp, cherry shrimp, even bamboo shrimp, I have come to a decision. I will raise and breed "tiger" shrimp.
I love the markings on them, and are not hard to raise or breed. Waaaay cool
