20 yrs with the wife, how should I make it special?
13th of this month marks the 20 year mark since I 1st asked the wife to go out with me, I want to make it real special, so calling for idea's.
Here is what I am thinking so far.
To mark the 20yrs, I am going to have her name tattooed across my heart, cook her a candlelit dinner next Friday night, just thought of this, but perhaps photograph some of our memories and copy some of our old photographs to bury in a time capsule?
Do you gals think I am on the right track?, do you guys think I am to much a softie?, any other ideas? My birdpage: http://featheredfriends.weebly.com/

There is no way you can be too much of a softie. This marks a very special time for you and your love.
I think your plan sounds awesome. Be sure to add some flowers into the mix!8 tanks running now:

Oh, yes, Flowers are a must. I agree, no such thing as being a too much of a softie when it comes to your wife.
Nothing says I love you like a tank with 10gal for every year, so let's see, that would be a 200. :) Bet that would fly. Ok, so maybe not, try putting the flowers in it for her.Considering a Marine Aquarium? A Breakdown of the Components, Live Rock, Cycling a Marine Tank

Sound like a plan to me, and very effective
I like the 10g per year
As I get older I find myself thinking about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Shall do GM, my wife loved red roses when we got together, I used to buy them in all forms of arrangement, I told her she would soon have, "a room full of roses", as the song go's, recently we had a big cleanup, and many of these went, from storasge in the shed LOL.
I was thinking of getting a blue rose (as she loves now) under her name on my chest, but she say's, "hmmmmm, dunno, seems a bit pussy for a bloke"?, confused about this, considering she says she does not exactly like the idea of the tatt for a start, but does not exactly go against it LOL.
Why can't women be more like us blokes?, straight down the line

I can't be of much help because I'm not into all the love and stuff. But.........having a persons name (no matter how much you love them) tattooed to yourself doesn't always have end results that are too keen. You just never, ever know what's around the corner. God forbid, but accidents and illness do happen and if there ever was someone else in your life.......well, that tat might not be what you'd want 20 years from now.
LOL......she sounds a bit like me, I'd say. Right to the point and no mincing words much.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

I don't think I'd do a name tattoo either. Maybe just a picture of a rose or other symbolic representation of your love for her?

A tat on you sounds more like something for you than her, too.
You are crafty. How about making a big picture of all your favorite family shots, glue them to a large board, make a frame and have them all covered under some polyurethane. Women seem to want to keep themselves surrounded by family photo's and it would be something for HER not YOU, you goofy bloke.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Geez, my wife always said, it means bad luck
But after 20yrs of all the common relationship ups and downs, I thought I may be safe. If it came down to losing my darling through health, or even for that matter, difference in opinion, after 20yrs, I would be proud to wear her name, but if in the next few yrs, if anything happened to her, it would haunt me I think. My birdpage: http://featheredfriends.weebly.com/
