Red algae?
Mkk, sorry, well I have noticed latley that there has been small little red dots that appear to be red algae? I can scrape it off but I want to know if its dangerous and if not algae what is it?

Its not algae. I believe its diatomes.... But Im not sure.. It shouldnt harm fish buts killer on silk plants.

lol great I havea few silk plants and there falling apart thanks is there any way to get rid of it?

They best way is with a diatom filter.

red algae in freshwater is a sign of bacterial contamination from plants or something else
