acidic water
grr....i have a half filled 10G with low ph levels. im talking LOW.
i add 2-3 drops of ph+ once a day...and so far, no changes. (its been 3-4 days now)
i have a good sized peice of wood in it..is that causeing it???
i have been testing the water so much that my PH tester is out
im really fustrated, would like some advise..

Driftwood does lower PH....why not take it out do a water change and retest the next day or so

driftwood lowers it, but only by 1-2 points

Test your tap water first. The driftwood will bring it down a little in that small of tank... You can use crushed coral or shells to pull it back up.... Did you cure the driftwood????

How low is it? Sometimes its best to just leave the pH as it is.

What is your KH. You probably need to buffer your water because you have very low KH. Baking soda works as a great buffer. A million times better that PH+.

ok, my tap water is 7.0
my KH is <0.3 mg/l
Ph 5
how much baking soda should i try?
