I just noticed, in the corner of our tank what looks like a "white fingerprint", can't get a picture because it's literally over the corner of the tank. It looks like lots of white dots. Front glass to side glass about the size of a quarter. Any ideas with out a picture?

So if they're snail eggs, what is the likelihood that they will survive? Anything we should do?

In my tank I have never seen any baby snails make it. My fish start eating the eggs off the glass pretty quick. I have thought about making a snail only tank so I dont have to keep buying them. I have a murdering hermit.

The fish haven't seemed to bother them so far. We noticed one of our nassarius snails up on the "fingerprint" last night and now there are more of he pinhead dots. There are actually 2 patches in the same corner. That will be cool if they make it though. :)

Nassarius usually take around a month to hatch. It depends on what type of snail laid the eggs. Try this page and see if it helps http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-02/rs/index.php
