Default worth it to try snails/hermits

I was scared to add snails and hermits to my 55g because of my wrasse.

For the heck of it, i put my coral banded in, and for the last 2 months the wrasse ignores him, they will go by eachother without the wrasse killing him.

If that was successful, think some turbos and hermits are worth a try? BTW i have a lunar wrasse

You could try it one at a time see how they do. If the didnt eat your shrimp then they may not mess with them. I like my sand sifting snails although they do come out when I feed the corals and fish.

What wrasse species is it, Cocoa? Most of the little ones are planktonvores, and ignore things like snails and crabs. I have a group of Filament Wrasse in my large reef, and they don't even mess with the little porcelain crabs living in one of my corals, though they could easily pick those little guys apart.
Buy an AquaC skimmer with that 250 so you'll have a real skimmer rather than that knockoff. The joy of a discount soon turns into the pain of poor quality, you know.
If you don't have enough green algae in the tank the Turbos will croak in a hurry. Maybe half that many would do better, though you may have to feed them. The crabs are omnivores, so they'd be OK. I believe there are four or five Turbo and a handful of Astrea, Trochus and Nassarius snails in my 220 reef. There are one or two of the dwarf Abalone snails in there, because I see them from time to time after lights out. I have no idea about the numbers of hermits, since they are impossible to count.

its a lunar wrasse, once i get the 90g going hes being moved.

For sure im going for a better skimmer, the weipro is a PAIN. the powerheads are either to weak or strong for it, i have yet to find one that will give good enough flow and its been 20 powerheads later.

It also came across my mind that with a bit over 200lbs LR the crabs can hide if something ever happened

LoL your LFS is right, a lunar wrasse will occasional turn into a crab and snail eater. Get some of the really pretty dwarf fairy wrasse to replace that lunar when you move him. They aren't cheap, though, since they are in great demand.
Depends on your budget, of course, but I'd suggest something like this for your tank. I'm using one on my 220 and considering adding a couple to my other reefs and like it very much. Would be perfect for your reef.

If you decide to get that wave2k for your tank, I'd love to see pics of it. I just can't wrap my head around how to make it look nice in the tank.
