i have been bitten by all of them while training them to eat market shrimp and pellets. They're not mean...just thought my fingers were food. it isn't much fun either way.

my 3 larger gar are in a 180 gal and my baby longnose gar is in a 29 gal growout tank until it is large enough to be put w/ the larger ones. within the next year or two i am planning on getting a 375-500 gallon tank for them.
