  1. Default NLS question

    Hello guys...

Since recently I have been reading several post about NLS and all the wonders it does, I have come with a couple of questions.

1st, I have a community tank with three spot and dwarf gouramis and glo lite and neon tetras... so... my question is... should I get the community fish formula or the small fish formula... I'm concerned about if the tetras would be able to eat the community ones... does anyone feeds their tetras NLS

2nd, were do you buy you NLS

    Thanks...

    Luis.
    Luis

What fish would you like to be...???

You could get away with the small fish formula for your tank.

and you can order it from

    www.bigalsonline.com or www.kensfish.com

Use the small fish formula or Hikari makes mini pellets that tetras will eat....
75 Gallon South Cichlid: Tiger Oscar and Jack Dempsey

55 Gallon GT Tank: 1 Male GT and 8 Giant Danio

20 Gallon Long: Waiting for eco-complete planted red substrate that has been delayed 2 weeks due to weather.

You know, the large cichlid formula isnt really that big so i imagine the small fish forumla would be small enough. Remember, you dont need to feed a lot with a high quality food to get good results.

The small fish is 0.5mm, plenty small enough, but the gouramis would have to eat a lot of it. The community is 1mm, I'm srue the tetras could eat it, but that depends on how big they are. At adult size no problem but when they are smaller it would be difficult.

I would go with the community 1mm pellets or Hikari mini pellets. The lg fish is way to big for neons, It's a 3mm pellet. I feed them to my 5 inches Oscars and green terror.....
