yes to bristle noses unsure on kulis, and they can be both fW and brackish
i have one in my 3ft ( is a FW tank) and he is in there with live breeders and tetras, also bristle noses, they get alone well unless one is sick and dying he loves that and my fry,

While able to survive in Freshwater situations, they are much healthier in Brackish set ups.
I do believe there are 2 or 3 different species referred to as the bumble bee goby though. (Dave?)Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can pay the rent.
