Medication
I have a oscar with hole in the head disease and I was told I could treat it with Maroxy by Mardel. Do you recommend this medication or what kind would you recommend?

I don't know about the Maroxy.
I would use any medicine containing Metronidazole to treat the disease.

I would reccomend no medication. here are the steps to follow.
1) ensure yoru tank is big enough. your Oscar requires 55 Gallons per Oscar. how many fish are in your tank? what is the size of your tank?
2) HITH is caused by poor water conditions/poor diet. therefore, if your tank is large enough... test the water, ensure NitrAte is less then 20ppm, and ammonia, and NitrIte is 0ppm. if Ammonia and NitrIte are >0 increase filtration. if NitrAte >20, then begin daily 30% water changes until NitrAtes <20ppm. keep it that way.
3) Restrict diet to 75-80% a quality cichlid pellet or stick, soak them in liquid vitamins, and once per week, add live crickets. Feeder fish are a MUST NOT, in any case, but especially in the case of an Oscar with HITH. add Shelled Peas, and other Veggeis occasionally.
Keep up water changes, diet, and watch tank stocking indefinatly.
