My dog ran away He's Dead!
I gave my dog of nearly 6 years to my ex husband 9 days ago because he was so cooped up in this apartment and had lots of room at his house. I told him he has got to stay on a lead wire, tho.
Well, wouldn't you just know it. Bob let him just run and now he's gone. He is a house dog and can't stand the cold or the snow and he's been gone now 6 hours and the snow is very deep.

I'm so sorry Hobbs! Call the shelters and the radio stations. He hasn't been gone that long yet - hopefully someone picked him up!

Awe I hope he's found. Does he know when he let him out and how long he was missing before he noticed? My parents old dog (almost 13 yrs old) runs away and stays close but blends in a lot. He always turns up though, so hopefully all will work out. Does he have a id tag?

well keep us posted. Hopefully he'll get bored and go home, or a shelter will pick him up. Continue calling the shelters throughout the week as the case may be that he's scared and it could take some time to catch him if someone spots him.
good luck and I really hope you find your puppy :(~

I'm so sorry. Losing a pet really bites. I'd be devastated if we lost ours.
