red algae
anyone have any red algae growing.
tried siphoning it out (along w/ a bunch of sand), cleaning filters, brushing rocks, water changes, adding algae eaters?
i was reading an article that mentioned the secret was a product called redox. i didn't find that, but i did pick up a sachet of purigen, by seachem - on the back it said that it significanly raises redox. so i paid $12 and put it in my filter. that plus a little light deprivation did the trick.
