So will it hurt my tank if I dont have them, aqua-tech should be ashamed. I have the other filters in there(replacement filter cartridges that are blue) Thanks

  9. Default

Yes it may hurt your tank being that it was the bio filter you threw out. How long has your tank been up and running? And is it cycled? I ran into the same problem years ago, mine just got so raggedy that it was falling apart and you can not buy them. I did a DIY project and just bought a sheet of I think it is called poly fiber and cut it to fit the black plactic frames.I have also heard that you can put bio-glass or ehfilav in a media bag and slip it down in front of the blue filter.Hope it helps and Welcome.
