    Thanks guys! I appreciate all the comments.

    The parrot does not do water changes...although she likes to bathe! She's 13 years old or so and is a Green-cheeked Amazon (AKA Mexican Red-headed or Red-crowned). She's not a talker but will say 'Hello good girl' on rare occaisions. Other than that she mumbles and shrieks a lot (good thing we don't live in town ).

    And the mini-dachsie is my first lap-dog! I quite enjoy taking her around with me...she's very sweet!
