Been feeding him flakes, squirt? Don't feed him for a week (don't worry, he'll be OK without food that long) and see if he can void the clog. If they are healthy they usually can. Keep trying with the peas, though. Any little bit helps.

i feed him pellets and blood worms once a week.
ok i wont feed him for a week and see how it goes. I will give the peas another shot.....should i try to get him to eat them like everyday?? how often should i try?? and if he doen't eat them within a couple of hours i take them out?????
i think that it is weird...i put 1 pea inthere for him (i mashed some and left some whole to see what he prefered) and he didn't take either. So i put theo ther 2 that i had in my hand and mushed them in my 20g fiddler crab tanmk and the feeder guppies demolished them.

Dropsy starts off looking like constipation then the swelling spreads over the whole body. If he won't eat keep a close eye on him. Look directly down on him to see if scales are starting to pinecone. Have Maracyn-2 and epsom salt on hand and be ready to treat if you see him start to pinecone.
Swim bladder usually makes them swim sideways or float funny. Your symptoms sound more like the beginning of dropsy. My tank:
20g long - 8 Trigonostigma heteromorpha, 2 Corydoras brevirostris, 2 Corydoras agassizii, 1 Corydoras trilineatus named Julian

Yes, the sooner you can start treating the better. Check out this URL <http://www.waynesthisandthat.com/killer.htm> and scroll down to Experimental Dropsy Treatment. I followed that pretty much only I used Maracyn-2 and Skarloey made it.
