  1. Default How to get rid of my algae?

    0 Not allowed!
I have a proble with my algae. When i went to my LFS they told me fish dont eat the kind of algae i have. It is a brown algae that grows on everything(it makes me mad how ugly it looks!). Is there any way to prevent it or are there algae eaters that actually eat it?

Is your tank in contact with direct sunlight? How long do you leave your tank light on?

Use Algae destroyer. The only thing is it will harm all plant matter including aquarium plants.

that would be your last resort- only use chemicals when you need them. why not just get an algae eating fish? cheaper, and more amusing. putting chems- BORING! I recommend otos too, but once the algae is gpne, feed algae wafers.
