well no...i was thinking of getting either 2-4 otos but i have made up my mind to get 2. and after thinking about it....12 shrimp is alot...and if i get some males and females then i could maybe get some little ones.

12 cherry isn't a lot. The general thought is that shrimp have a negligible effect on the bioload, the benefits outweigh the load they put on the system.

How much are cherrie's at your LFS? I shipped some to Canada recently with no problems. I'll also PM you some info on acquiring them from a Canadian breeder.
