    Default Ich vs Fungus

    Hello,

    Recently I had some 1" minnows develop small "white spots" on their dorsal and pectorial fins, maybe one or two on their tail. I know fungus spots are raised and ich usually isn't, but it's hard to tell the difference on such small fish. Any advice other than I have a 50/50 chance of guessing right? Thanks,

    Ick is easy to spot. You can generally see it on their fins first. Tiny little white specks like salt.

    Fungus is larger, white spots that look fuzzy.
