Default Fluval Edge update - anyone used a surface foam roller to increase O2 levels??

So, been a year now since getting the tank.

Still learning how to keep the O2 levels right but think I've learned from a few mistakes. It's run for 6 months now without any issues. Still gutted my breeding Peacock Gudgeons died when I over filled the tank so water surface agitation was reduced and O2 levels dropped so decided on some Endlers which are breeding happily.

More lighting and hood mods to increase spread of light.

Still, it's a heavily planted tank so I still have concerns about 02 levels.

Does anyone have any experience with surface foam rollers to aid oxygenation? Are they effective? Is there any science about size of roller, roller speed, etc?

    Any thoughts appreciated.

    Thanks

Never heard of a foam roller for surface agitation. Why not add an airstone for surface agitation? Have you read up on the respiration cycle of plants? The O2 levels would not be affected by them.
