Help on deciding
0
I had just canceled my order for my TruVu tank because of limitations for hang on equipment.
So now I'm stuck
I want a 40 gallon tank and i would love for it to be acrylic but all of them have a covered top. I liked TruVu because of the rounded edges, but they said if i cut the top edges off, it might not be sturdy enough and break eventually.
So are there any tanks that are acrylic without a covered top?
If not, which 40 gallon glass tank should i get?
Some links would be great.

I don't do acrylic... Petco just had a sale 10, 20H, 20L, 29, 40 Breeder, and 55 gallon tanks, $1 per gallon. I got a 20 Long and a 40 Breeder for about $65 total.

That top is necessary as it holds the sides from bowing outward since there's no frame. I know what you mean, tho. I wouldn't care for that either. Perhaps you may like the rimless tanks but those are glass.
