THanks! I love it when the mental images start getting translated into real stuff!
Hey, Slap, I am unable to post to the forum from my Chromebook these days. Any idea why that might be?

Yes, the AC is in dire need of maintenance and repair, but alas, no sign of an Admin in a very long time...

I noticed that William responded to Andre's thread (bluewaterboof), but it seemed like an automated response. Anyway, thanks for letting me know. I can only post here from school now, which makes it even more difficult.

Definitely an auto-response in the Intro section, he's always had that...tried a different browser?

So, I've been hanging out at fishforums.net, which they say was started by a guy named William, who sold it years ago. I wonder if that's our same beloved William. It has been a really long time since he's been around. I hope he's doing OK.
Anyway, back to the rice paddy. I got some shading dry-brushed on the fake rocks and plan on gluing them in and painting the back of the tank black tonight. Then I can get it out of my garage (yay!), put in the substrate, and start ordering plants! I'm thinking about adding crystalwort (riccia fluitans) to my list. Anybody on here ever kept it? I hear it's a fast-growing floater like duckweed, but not as annoying because it grows in clumps so it's easy to remove.
I'm also looking at putting in a few chopstick snails (Stenomelania torulosa), which look really exotic and sift the sand like MTS, but without taking over the world. I've actually been reading up on some of the oddball snails like rabbits, mini conchs, tower snails, etc. Very interesting. Anybody have any experience with any of these? @Boundava @slaphappy7 @Rocksor @RiversGirl

I do, FYI they eat plants. They ate all of my pogostamen helferi. Not my crypts though. Love the buggers irregardless, lol.
