    Default What killed my fish?

Less than 2 weeks ago I bought 2 feeder goldfish. They initially were doing great in my 10 gallon tank. I switched them over to my larger tank. I did add new rocks. My little grey one was doing great swimming around but my larger golden one kept going to the top and mouthing the surface ( I thought maybe the stress of switch over) because the little one was fine ( in the beginning the little one was sensitive to showing if something was wrong with the water). A few hours later the golden/larger goldfish was fine swimming around in the aquarium. The next morning the golden fish was covered in white fuzzy stuff. I assumed it was ick! I put the little blue drops (ick treatment) in the aquarium water and 3 minutes later the little fish acted like a shock went through him and died . I took the golden goldfish out of the tank and put him in a much smaller tank. Most of the fuzzy white stuff is off the golden goldfish and he is swimming a little lethargic. Did the ick treatment kill my little goldfish? What did I do wrong? Could the rocks had the parasite on them? Thank you in advance!

Moi guess is that if the tank was cycled: ammonia Nitrites, whatever those deadly ones are could have killed him/her. I am not sure about the fuzzy stuff. ?? I doubt it could have been parasites with fuzzy white stuff sounds like disease. I'm doubting you took a pic of him/her?
