Bristlenose Pleco Fry!!
0
We have a 55g and a pair of albino bristlenose plecos who recently had their first clutch of eggs. They hatched, the plecos laid more eggs, and I'm excited to announce that we're officially taking over the world with our mini army of pleco fry.
The fry are doing really well. The oldest of them are about 2 inches now, while the youngest barely pass for grains of rice! We have some albinos, some spotted gray ones, some less spotted gray ones, some even less spotted gray ones... alright, I think you get the idea. I'm absolutely in love with the little guys!
As much as I wish I could keep them all, we'll be giving the majority away over to a LPS who takes great care of their fish. How many inches should the fry be before it's safe to send them off?

Welcome to the AC, congrats on the fry.
I would think 1 1/2-2 inch should be big enough to rehome.

I would contact the LFS and ask them. They may have a central filtration system so may need the fry a certain size to avoid getting into the filter. Least that was the case with me, they wanted them at least an inch around, not long.
Look to see if there is a fish club or two in the area. You and bag em and sell them there too, no one says no to baby plecos.

Thank you, that's a great idea!
