Ic. I've been looking for Seachem Prime but none of the lfs I frequent have them. So out of desperation to get a water conditioner where I know what it does, 2 of the lfs recommended fritz complete as it removes chlorine and chloramine, ammonia and nitrite. And also got fritz 7 for the beneficial bacteria, recommended to dose every water or filter media change. Will continue to hunt for Seachem prime in the meantime.

Amongst all the errors I made, I'm happy about this! So excited that it berried in my tank and not bought off a lfs! The

Fritz complete is fine since it removes chlorine, chloramine, binds up ammonia and prevents toxicity of nitrite.

Thanks for all the help guys! Wondering what kind of feed do you feed your shrimps. Or are there any recommendations?

Because my shrimp are in with fish I don't usually feed shrimp specific foods. But one treat I do add are GlasGarten Shrimp Lollies. Stick the lollie in the substrate and the shrimp climb all over it. I've even had my pencilfish and habrosus cories picking at these.

I have also tried the Shrimp King sample pack although I think these products are a little pricey - the samples are small.

There are lots of options out there.

I see. Asking cause I brought shirakura and benibachi samples and my shrimps doesn't react much to them. In fact, they ignore shirakura altogether. Whereas they all scramble for my $3 ista shrimp food 20g.

Also wondering which food brings out the colors more.

I see. Sorry for the late reply. If I were to give then vegetables, how often can I give them? I tried giving them boiled cucumber, boiled for 10 mins and let cool. They went crazy over it. Haha

I feed fresh veggies once or twice a week, for my shrimp and fish...cucumber doesn't have much nutritional value, try zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, broccoli....I'll usually steam some for myself, and take out a few pieces before they are fully cooked to feed my tanks
