    And here's another video from someone I follow who I think has great information. He has also answered questions for me I have posted in the comments sections, so you could post a question and see if he might answer you, although this video is a little older.

    That is so funny Silvia, this guy is a member at our Greenwater club. I also love to watch his videos and can ask him questions in person too at the club meetings. He really is as nice in real life. this is a great video on the red tailed carp....

    Sorry Sue! Not sure where I was reading...

    As for the OPs quesion;

    The centerpiece fish you are looking for can be the gourami. They are very inquisitive fish and will learn to come up to take food from tongs. As you can see in the video, Jason had his red tail in a 150 gallon and I agree with his statement that a 55 is not really big enough for the red tail and any unfortunate inhabitants. If you want the red tail, you can always go with a one fish tank. It would be your showpiece, but as this is a classroom tank I would think of the students and get a tank that will not be chaotic and have more of a variety.

    His videos are always right to the point and short enough on specific topics to keep your attention throughout. No nonsense, with really good information. The fact that he's even answered questions that I've asked in the comments section supported my assessment of him as a really nice person. Nice to hear the same from someone who knows him "off-line", so to speak.
