Here is the first mix-down from the album I'm hoping to drop this fall some time. Recording is a lot of work; mixing down is the payoff. This is a song my mom wrote many years ago; I edited and arranged it, then got together with a bunch of friends to lay it down. Enjoy!

Glad the general idea is coming across. :) These songs have been very, very good for me to work on this summer. I've had a bit of a spiritual awakening trying to move into "practice what I'm preaching" mode. ha ha ha

Thanks for all the kind words! We're having a lot of fun getting these out.

That one is even better. Reminds us of how short life can be, and we had better make the best of it while we can. And cherish those we love, and make sure they know it.

Don't you just LOVE our sophisticated (another word for complicated) technology? When it works properly, it's great. When it acts up, it can be the bane of our existence. I think we all have a love-hate relationship with today's technologies. My computer has "puked" on more than one occasion, but thus far, I have refrained from tossing it out the window. LOL!

Yeah. This whole collection is about facing adversity with faith, courage, humor, and good-old-fashioned orneriness. This will be the first song on the album--I feel ilke the reminder to get off the couch and do something is a good start.

Ha ha ha, yeah. The problem in this cased existed between the device and the chair, but I got it straightened out. My dad used to have a poster that said "Hit any key to continue." It showed a guy standing in front of his computer lifting up a sledge hammer...

I've felt like tearing my hair out a few times over some of the stuff that's happened with mine. Imagine if I got me a so-called "smart" phone -- I would probably end up bald. What aggravates me the most are these so-called "touch" screens that don't respond when I touch them. Talk about having to hit something with a sledge hammer -- it seems that's almost what it takes.
