The lighting I use is good old fashioned T5 HO bulbs it runs 2 x 54w bulbs there is 4 x 54w T5's in the hood but only currently running 2 as the amount of CO2 and Ei needed running 4 was crazy and the growth was through the roof with 216w of T5 lighting
Ok thanks, good to know for t5HO. I currently use LED, but this is helpful for comparison. I agree with you, lighting is the 'gas pedal for plant growth. I keep my lighting in the low-medium range because I do not supplement co2. Looks like you have acheived the balance or close to it :)

Wow it's really looking good! we're still having issues with the site so I'm not sure how many people see your post as a new post, I know it didn't come up as a new post for me. I saw your post on tap talk and I have to look under the aquarium journals to see which were the newest journals that were posted on to find your journal. If that makes sense. I do hope more people see your update for your tank cuz it really looks awesome. Happy holidays to you and your family.

    Beautiful!

I do have a question, if you don't mind a curious mind. How on Earth did you get rid of all that moss? Don't get me wrong, your moss looked good before. I have a love/hate relationship with moss, personally. But seriously, what was your method to clear it all out?

I never seem to be able to get it all, then decide it looks rather nice and let it grow out again until... I don't like it anymore and make another attempt at clearing it all again.

Your tank's new look is lovely to see. Thank you for sharing!

    Thanks

I removed all the wood and used hot water and a green kitchen scrubbing sponge and that seemed to do the trick I have a very tiny bit above water but can't see it if it grows out again then will scrub that off
