Hello and welcome to the AC! Which fish to you intend to keep in this tank? Various fish require different temperature ranges.

Most tropical fish will do well at 75-80F (24-27C). Cool-water fish such as white clouds and hillstream loaches are usually kept at room temperature. Cold-water fish such as trout might require a chiller.

So yes, it all depends on what sort of fish you want to keep.
